i have celiac desease...i cannot eat anything with gluten, which is found in wheat, barley, rye and oats, and all foods dirived from these grains, if i do eat these grains the gluten causes my own immune system to attack my small intestine. it is an auto-immune desease much like ms. through my readings on celiac desease, i have learned that ms is a secondary condition that can possibly be related to celiac desease......i read about a guy who had ms, who was confined to a wheel chair. when he was put on a gluten-free diet, his ms was reversed and he could walk again.... celiac desease can also account for your depression...it may be something you want to look into...ask your doctor if he can test you...there is a blood test, or also, a biopsy can be done on your small intestine...you can also just eliminate wheat, rye, barley and oats from your diet, and eat rice bread, cookies and pasta. . you can have corn too.... ....it might be worth a try for your healths sake....it might help! best of luck...i'll say a special prayer
