I have FBD in both breasts, L much worse.Had 4 biopsies,with larger & larger amts. of inc. partial mastectomy before having a L total simple mastectomy done on 11-22. Dr.found lots of atypical, precancerous cells. I wasn't afraid of cancer so much as wanted final relief from severe, constant pain. Now having bad symptoms in R breastwhich has enlarged considerably in the 2 months since surgery. Have scheduled same surgery on remaining breast for 2-28. I don't want implants, will use prothesis and/or padded bra. At 53,appearance not important to me. Will answer furher questions.
