I also have RSD. Mine is in my left elbow area.I had a series of nerve block shots in my neck. The Doctor did it right in the office and it wasn't very pleasant.The doctor needs to very careful doing this procedure,it was very close to my spine and they go in pretty much blind. My doctor didn't tell me this untill the end of the series,which was 3 injections later. I didn't get much relief from them. After the injection I felt as if I had a mini-stroke. My left eye closed,my left nostril went numb and I drolled. I really didn't get much relief,maybe 45 minutes after the shots. My doctor said this isn't usual,but nothing they have done has worked on me. The pain of the shots was minimal compared to how I feel everyday. Good luck to you.
