Linda
Hi I don't want to be pesimistic, but I have TOS on both sides also. I had the rib thing done, (my rib removed) on my left side. I am now in so much pain on that side I can hardly stand it. I am on several drugs, Oxycontin, percocet, for pain. Then I am on mood elevators (2) for depression. I am on 3 ambiens a night to try to sleep. I take 6 colaise and 6 senokot a day to fight constipation from other meds. I take provigil to try to help me function in the daytime. I can't remember, (I wonder why), I might take more things. Needless to say, I have not had the right side done. I talk to my pain management Dr. about my concern of being on so many drugs and am told I don't take that many compared to others. Have you tried physical therapy? (I am sure you have by now). I wish I had stuck with that. I am now disabled/retired. I used to have a great job that I loved doing eligibility at the welfare dept. It felt good to help people. Now I am 50 years old and only thank God I worked all of my life, so that I am not the person asking for help. I hope this helps you some. I planned on doing a lot more with my retirement than lie around hurting. I feel very sorry for my husband. We had so many plans. I am very grateful for his love a lot of guys would have just split. Good Luck to you. Linda
