My daughter started having abdominal pain at 13, near the onset of menstruation. She was diagnosed with ovarian cysts. After multiple visits to the ER and pain meds, we tried 3 versions of birth control pills. This winter, at 15 years old, she had a laparoscopy which revealed the presence of endometriosis. She has been treated for that for 6 months, and so far, is doing MUCH better. The meds were just finished, so it remains to be seen what the long term outcome is. But if you are having constant abdominal pain, get it checked out. I guess there's no age restrictions on this stuff!
