Hi, I know what you are talking about and I don't know the name of the condition either. My son and I used to go to a top dermatologist and he tried us on many lotions, creams, pills, etc. Nothing really works. The only thing is with ours is that it hits us during the winter months more than the summer months and we get it all over our hands not just the fingers. We used to sit and peel the skin off, and wait for it to start over again. I did try some medicated skin lotion and it did work after some time.I even use some bath and body works lotions in cucumber, etc where it says it helps in healing and so far so good hasn't come back in a year. Try some medicated lotions that are over the counter, like Jergins, bath and body works, if you don't have a store like that by you then sears, etc to find with cucumber and melon. You can even try a company called Nu-Skin. Good luck; hope it works for you like it helped me.
