I have chronic lymes decease, cfs, fibromyalgia and several other illnesses also. Systemic lupus has many of the same symptoms as lymes. EBV and CFS also have the same symptoms. I would get tested for lymes decease also just to rule it out. If it is lymes, antibiotics - in your case you probably had it for a while and would need IV antibiotics for several months - may help the soreness, achiness and leg pain. The pain in my legs is also quite bad and also my lower back. I cannot walk very far and do not go anywhere alone. My family was also skeptical about what the decease does. Give them copies of literature - ask your doctor for information in writing - and have them read it. When they see it in writing hopefully they will realize you are not lazy and that your body can no longer do the things it once did. If I want to go out at night, I sleep or lie down all day. Otherwise, I cannot function. My legs swell and the pain intensifies. Educate yourself and your family - it should help you all. God bless.
