I have a reflux problem for years and now a large hiatus hernia. treatment over the last 18 months has included ranitidine (less strong but I find fewer side effects, Zoton, and Pariet( highly effective slow acting - could usualkly not take one for three days with out significant relux - but I had a query if it was that stroong why was I taking it every day - also experience bloating and significant weight gain - have gone back to ranitidine -= lookinhg to have the hernia operated on in time. I have also experienced significant pain on lft side under, over and around the ribs - tests have shown nothing and I suspect its muscular or in the bone but apparently may be related to hernia - do you get this?
