Your doc should give you more details than that.I had an abnormal pap some years ago and they told me what stage it was right away(early).It turned out that the lab made a mistake,not only mine but other women too.So I had another done and it was normal.Do you get a pap every year and was your last one was normal?If that's the case,your anxiety should be less.There is effective treatment,and your doctor has a responsibiliy to TELL right you away so you don't have to go through this anxiety.Get as early an appt. as possible or demand to know on the phone.Tell him you are scared.Or switch doctors.You will be fine.
