Susan, sorry to hear your at a loss . I had cervial abnormalities , i had the extra rib along with my 2 buldging disks...Yes it is hard, but in a way i Dont regret my surgery, but the scar is nasty looking and now that it is healing you can see the place where he took out the mussell. I didnt have the normal surgery I had everything done at One time....The hand still swells up and the weather does not help.The doctor told me to keep moving it you dont want this to develop into RSD. That's a nightmare! It did take away some pressure and my range of motion is better but he said I'm still in the healing process....3-6 months of recovery at least. The only thing that scares me is that I dont have any strenght in that arm I still cant hold it up for long. They said aqua therapy would help, do you know anything about it? What stage are you at and hopw long have you had it? please reply thanks
