I have had FMS for about 10 years now. I believe your scoliosis is a seperate problem. My daughter has that. As for me, after much trial and error in my case, I am now on neurontin ( an anti-convulsant) to help stabilize my mood & pain & allows the other meds I take for pain to work better while taking milder ones and less of them.I take mostly Ultram for the bad times and I notice it helps with the exhaustion too. Once in a while I resort to a half a perccet but not too much. I also take vistaril with my pain meds for the nausea I get and found it it also helped boost the effect of the pain meds. I am also on a low dose of limbitrol which is a combo drug of Elavil and librium. it sounds like a lot of meds but I have a life now. It doesn't cure me but enables me to function better especially in the bad phases. Good luck, hon, you are so young to start out with this.
