Wow, 15! I am 37 now. I've had Fibro' for at least 6 years now. I think it started many years before that! I am still experiencing w/ medications, rest and exercise, to help eleviate the pain, fatigue, and the rest of my symptoms from this. I found light water aerobics to help me a great deal. The water shouldn't be cold. I use ice packs a lot at home, when an area is bothering in particular. Plenty of rest is a key factor for me. And staying on a routine is especially important for my well-being. It doesn't necessarily stop the pains or the fatigue or any of the other symptoms. But, if I don't stay on a routine - it aggravates my pains and so on - all the more. There is so much information available now. Every person w/ this DD is different, what works for one may not work for someone else. I have a lot of information to web site links.
