I had a like injury in 1970. I went to three back specialist's and all told me the only way to treat this was with an operation. My pain had become so sever I could not walk more than a short distance and it was 24 hour pain. After a year I decided to get the operation. Fortunately I met someone who advised me to give a particular chriopractor a try first. This chriopractor said I did not need an operation if I did exactly as he instucted. It took about six months but I am so thankful I did not get an operation. The main part of my recovery was knowing what excercises to do AND TO DO THEM! It has been thirty years and when my back starts bothering ... back to my excersises. We just get lax sometimes when all is going well. Hope this helps. but the chriopractor I spoke of has long retired and I have not been able to find one with his expertise since nor would I know how to find one. I have visited with many used a few but none come close to that persons ability or knowledge. I believe his name was Dr.Hammond in Edina , MN. I moved from that area years ago and don't know where or if he might be. Marv
