Some of the younger doctors now will prescribe things for infants that my doctors years ago were afraid of. My second grandchild was breastfed and she vomited a lot. It was upsetting to my daughter, but the doctor said to feed her small amounts several times a day as some babies don't develop in that area as quickly as others and as she got older she would get over it. I believe most of the time it is a developmental problem and you just have to wait it out but do what works best for you in feeding the infant. Sometimes it causes a problem because the baby's head is not high enough when feeding. Hope this information is helpful.
