I don't have lupus (my sister does) and fortunately don't have CFS but was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia by a Rheumatologist back in 1991. I agree that one needs a Rheumatologist, but have learned there are Rheumatologists that don't believe it exists so finding one that does is important. And about people not realizing how bad it can be, that is so true, mostly cause you're not bleeding, in a cast or some other obvious thing. Fortunately, my husband has been both understanding, accepting and helpful.
