Sorry to hear about your friend - I have CFS/FMS - both symtoms over lap eachother (fibromyalgia) I have been liveing with this for about 15 yrs. - I have tried many of vit. and life style changes - some have helped but none have cured - you need to find a dr. that understands this - it is hard most dr. push you away - dont give up - I did for 12 years and I only have started finding dr.s that understand and are up to date on the latest treatments - Please find the book Freedom from fibromyalgia by Nanncy Sefridge - even if you do not have FMS now - I believe this will follow CFS. Good Luck to your friend and please tell her - dont give up - if one dr. does not help please go to another - this is a real illness and there is help.
