I had the same surgery a little over a year ago. The only problems I have experienced are swallowing because of scar tissue from the surgery, which eventually went away and muscle spasams which I still have. The muscle problems are tough to handle but nothing compared to the pain and discomfort before the surgery! I was TERRIFIED before surgery but it was a piece of cake. Ask questions and DEMAND answers. LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. NO ONE KNOWS IT BETTER THAN YOU. Good luck to you you are in my prayers.
