Hi,about 20 years ago I had very painful,hands,arms&shoulders the pain was so bad I couldn't hold a cup.I'm a jeweller and I work where the public can see me.That was my livelyhood.I could no longer work and was diagnosed with carpal.My operation was to be a few months away when one day a man I started a conversation with asked me if I intended to go on doing jewellery when and if the operation was successful.I told him that I had worked so long and hard to get where I was and hoped to return to the same field of work.He explained to me that he was a sports Dr. very well know in his field of work.He told me there was a very simply solution he told me to learn to sleep on my stomach with my fingers spread wide open and under each leg (easier said than done)I tryed but it is so hard to sleep if you prefer to sleep in a ball as I always have.He was so sure when he was talking to me that I kept it up for a week .Wakeing I must add every hour.It was very hard at first,but after a week I could feel the difference in my hands and arms after a few months most of the pain went away and I was able to go back to work.I've been sleeping on my hands every night since then I'm still working today,I'm 53 now.I work with jewellery plyers everyday I guess you could say I really love my work someday's I'll work 14 hours straight and then remember to eat something.I'm a workaholic.If it wasn't for that day I had that conversation I don't know where I'd be now.Over the years I've told many people this storey and I know of many causes of people I've helped please try you won't be sorry
