I assume you are female. If so, just ask your gynecologist to order a thyroid test. Tell him to check more than your TSH- I think it's the T3 and T4 levels, but it may be 4 and 5. He/She will know. It's a simple blood test. By the way, I used to be 5'8" and 114 pounds until I was 37 and had my first child. Now seven years later, I'm still the same height but weigh 160, so you never know what will change.
