You have my sympathy. I have had 8 iritis attacks, averaging about one every year and a half. There seems to be no new treatment. I take Prednisone drops every hour, and when it is really bad, I also go on a short course of oral prednisone. This seems to knock the worst out, and then I have to be vigilant about taking the eyedrops regularly, tapering off VERY slowly. I stay on a maintenance dose of 2-3 eyedrops daily. After the last episode I decided to go off dairy products (some think they irritate auto-immune disorders), and have switched totally to soy milk. It is too soon to tell if this will help. Normally my attacks last 3 months from start to finish, though I had 2 back-to-back last time when I tapered off the drops too quickly. Good luck!
