tonia
hi there, sounds somewhat familiar. i was in a wreck 18 months ago, and from the waist down, i have those same symptoms. my spine feels like i am being stabbed and my legs throb and ache, pain in my knees, butt, hips, all legs muscles and bones too. i have been to several doctors, now i am labeled chronic pain. i have had MRI's and xrays, all normal. i think its fibromyalgia. make sure you get adequate pain relief from the neurologist. he/she can give you the medicine you need. but if you aren't assertive with them, they will tell you to take something like extra strength tylenol and rest. huh. i hope this letter finds you better. take care. write me if you like and tell me what the neuro says. good luck, tonia PS...DO NOT LET THEM TELL YOU ITS ALL IN YOUR HEAD. MANY PEOPLE WITH CHRONIC PAIN ARE REFERRED TO A PSYCHIATRIC DOCTOR WHEN WE REALLY NEED PAIN HELP! YOU ARE NOT CRAZY AND ITS REALLY PAIN. DON"T BE DISCOURAGED, THERE IS HELP!
