Get early intervention services for your child to work on these things(either through Medical Assistance/Medicaid-depending on where you live, or your school district if they provide good services) Make sure they use a variety of interventions such as pivotal response training (good book: Koegel & Koegel--Teaching Children with Autism), incidental teaching, discrete trial, and get him around typical children as much as possible and facilitate interactions so that he can model age-appropriate behaviors. Just remember to let him be a child also. If they embed therapy into reinforcing activities, this is the most effective and most enjoyable for all. I'm a behavior specialist for children with autism. Good luck.
