Sheila Christensen
I am 49 years old and just diagnosed by top doctors at UCI medical school with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Prior to this, I was diagnosed at age 30 with systemic lupus erythematosus. Five years ago I was diangosed with spasmodic torticollis. I have several other medical disorders, and have suffered at the hands of Western medicine for years. I am interested in hearing from other people with this syndrome, since I believe my father had it also. I have received the most help through acupuncture and Oriental medicine, and have made some amazing progress. My doctors at UCI have commented that I have a strange constellation of illnesses and used my case at three different medical mnystery symposiums.
