My father, sister(also has insulin-dependent diabetes and Grave's disease), and my brother all have Ehlers-Danlos. No treatment has been prescribed for anyone except my sister, in the form of custom shoe orthotics, due to her diabetes and the concern for her foot health. My brother, however, had chronic subluxation of the shoulder joints and (at age 30) has already had rotator cuff repair bilaterally. My father died of pancreatic cancer in 1995 and never had any problem from his Ehlers-Danlos that we aware of. I have SLE, but no E-D. Hope you find some help. God bless you.
