Hi Sue, My grandson was born with CMV back in 1996. We didn't find out he had the virus until he was about 3 to 4 months old. I took him to the doctor to find out why he couldn't hold his head up or roll over by this time and he sent us to a neurologist. The Neurologist did a CAT scan and found calcifications on his brain. We didn't know at that time how this was going to affect him. He can crawl and climb, I still have to feed him and he still wears diapers. He was put on pediasure, about 4 to 5 cans a day because he also has failure to thrive. He is a wonderful kid and everyone seems to fall in love with him as soon as they meet him.
