diet after gall bladder surgery

Hello Everyone: It's been 8 months since gb removal. I've had periodic episodes of loose bowels..no constipation. Being a diabetic I'm heavy on protein and consequently fat. I have yet to find the "list" of foods to eat or avoid...but my diabetic diet keeps me within a small window of foods to consume. My advice is to keep a detailed food diary and pinpoint your problem then avoid that food if possible. It is a lot of work but there doesn't seem to be much help from the surgeons. A nutritionist told me that since I had my gb removed I don't have to worry about foods which irritated my condition...which I think is "bs". So many of us are on our own with this problem... certainly one thing I've learned is to limit your fat intake..but you do need fat in your diet. Don't celebrate the removal of your gb by pigging out on fats...also for diabetics...don't completely trust the low carb ratings of the recent flood of health bars...check your gl and test yourself after eating...Keep healthy everyone.
