Atypical Migraine?

I have many of the symptoms that you describe. I was diagnosed with Arnold Chiari 1 four years ago. It seems that you have had all of the testing done so I doubt that you have this. This is only diagnosed by MRI. However, recently I have been having difficulty finding words, and not remembering things. I am extremely frustrated at this point. My neurosurgeon recently ordered an eeg. The left side of my brain has slower brain waves as well as sharp brain waves. Now he suggests that I get a special MRI that shows blood flow to the brain. He thinks that I may be having seizures. I do not think so. However, the left side of the brain does control memory my dr. tells me. About 15 years ago I had a series of incidences that appeared to be like "mini strokes". I lost my abiltity to speak, but knew what I wanted to say in my head. I had horrible headaches, numbness in my right side, and one time it affected my vision. These were not strokes because my blood pressure was way too low. It runs around 90 over 60. But no one could tell me what had happened. I believe that is why I have difficulty now with memory and finding words. My dr. can't tell me if this is all related to the Chiari Malformation. I know your frustration well. Keep searching!
