Atypical Migraine?

A lot of your symptoms sound familiar to mine. I've had multiple MRI's over the last 12 years, temporal artery biopsy, brain arteriogram (they suspected an aneurisum). Currently I'm seeing a Professor of Neurology. He can't figure out my headaches and neck pain. But he's going back to old MRI's that are 12 years old where it was indicated that I had Arnold Chiari Malformation Type I. I was not treated for that at that time; only treated for a stiff neck. Physical therapy (traction at that time) did not help; it just took me 9 months to recover from the "therapy". My neurologist has prescribed a pain pill and strong muscle relaxer. Between the two I can at least lean my head over to eat but can't turn my head from side to side very quickly. Have your MRI's rechecked for the Arnold Chiari Malformation Type I. Many times it does not appear until you're an adult when something else affects the C1 and C2 vertabrae, then it is really hard to diagnose. The radiologist and neurologist or neuro-surgeon has to be looking for it. Most MRI's of the neck don't go up far enough into the oxcipital area of the head to see it. Good luck.
