I was daignosed with Sjogrens about 3-4 years ago and was in a study taking a medication that helped with saliva and tears. I had a very very dry mouth, when not taking the meds. I stopped taking them after the study as I couldn't afford them. Then about 2 years ago, I suddenly just about choked on saliva. since then I have my saliva back. I went back and told the nurse to tell the doctor that was in charge of the clinical trial. I also wrote to him, but recieved no answers. I have been on Paxil and read in a Paxil ad that there could be excess saliva as a side effect. Did that cure me, or what? I have no symptoms anymore except for arthritis pain.
