If the lice keeps coming back, it is probably in the furniture, bedding, stuffed animals, etc. The stuffed animals should all be put into a plastic garbage bag. I'm not sure but after a period of time, the lice living on the toys should die. Personally, I would throw the stuffed animals out just to make sure that the lice was gone. Ask the doctor, what to do with the bedding, the mattresses, the box spring, the pillows, the rugs in the house, the upholstery in the car. The lice are living somewhere around you and the kids.
