I work is a school where lice is a very common occurence. You need to treat everything in the home...either thru machine washing in hot water, sealing things in plastic bags for a couple of weeks and or spraying. Don't forget combs, brushes, and all hats and jackets. Also don't forget the sofa and chairs. Products to assist are available in most drug stores. GOOD LUCK! PS: Nix any sleepovers.
