We had a lice problem about a year ago. We finally resorted to getting a presciption of Lindaine(an anti lice shampoo). We treated everyone in the household. We put all blankets,pillows,and stuffed animals in the dryer on high heat for 45 minutes. We washed all bedding in hot water and dried them on high heat for 70 minutes. we bagged up all toys and put them in sun for 3 weeks. We had the exterminator out and vaccumed everything after his visit. Daily we would go through everybody's hair and remove nits. Finally after about a month and several shampoos we were free of them. When shampooing it is very imperative that you work up a real foamylather-lots of shampoo and lots of water. Scrub your hair for at least 20 minutes. Good Luck!
