I just started seeing a new eye doctor. She told me to stop waring my contact lenses for a month and start taking 2000 mg of flaxseed oil three times a day.She explained that the soft lenses are compounding the dry eye condition .When I take the lenses out( which is also when I have the problem)the nerve endings in my eyes are just screeming in pain. I'll let you know how I make out . P.S. I was taking a whole lot of vitamins including Hydroeyes.B6,Evening primrose oil,C,E etc.She said to stop the rest and concentrate on the flaxseed oil. She said she's had the most sucess with it.
