I have had dry eyes for a couple of years. I use Bauch& Laumb Preservative Free Moisture Eyes which is some help. But I just read Dr. Julian Whittaker's booklet "Action Plan for Better Vision". He mentions that dry eyes can be healed by DHEA, the anti-aging hormone. A Dr. Michael Zeligs of Boulder, Colorado, is an expert on the syndrome and apparently formulated an eye drop containing DHEA which first worked on Pekinese dogs with that problem, then on women who had stopped wearing contacts due to the severity of their dry eyes. It worked and they could wear their contacts again. Coincidentally, I just had a saliva test of my Adrenal Stress levels which showed I was deficient in DHEA. My level was 1.2. Normal level is between 2 and 10. I am post menopausal. I will probably try DHEA 25 MG. orally and will try and find the DHEA drops as well. Good Luck to all concerned!
