I have the same problem with my left eye becoming sticky at night when I get tired. Not so bad with the right eye. I had pink eye last fall and that is when I first had this problem with dry or gummy eyes. I got rid of the pink eye in a couple of weeks but was told effects can last for months. It has been 7 months of evening sticky eye problems.
