Lorane
My daughter has Crohn's, had a very bad time for about 2 yrs but kept on working, except for a very shott time. She saw her regular doctor who referred her to a gastroenterologist (has your sister seen one of them?) had a COMPLETE physical, includng a colonoscopy, was given Prednisone which I hated for her to take BUT, he kept reducing the potency and after a year, she is very well. travels, owns a sail boat and sails herself, works, bikes, teaches, entertains, 'goes' all the time. She was on a rigid diet for quite someime but eats most anything now, even salads. What steps have YOU taken to help her get WELL? That disease is such a dastardly thing, she can hardly be happy, mentaly alert, fine in all ways when THAT is going on! It would seem that should be thoroughly looked into & when THAT is OK, her mental attitude will automatically improve. I know, as I have IBS- close TO it, along with MANY chronic problems, all incurable and when they flare up, I come ungoued! Crohn's is noted forits persistency but your sister REALLY needs a doctor who specialzies in that..like a good gastronterologist and fast! People sitting in their homes, working with their computer w/NO medical training are hardly the ones to appeal to!!! She needs PROFESSIONAL help! NOW!
