I had disc surgery 2 years ago. I still had some sciatic pain down leg into foot. I was told it was piriformis spasm on the sciatic nerve. I had the operation where they snip the muscle to release the trapped nerve. While he was in there he said I had scar tissue, and a varcoise vein and would be well in a few weeks. I am now at eight weeks past surgery and still have pain. Now another orthopedic surgeon says I have SI joint problems. He is doing a emg on friday. I don't know what or who to believe but want to be relieved of this pain.I also developed fms in 1996, disc surgery 1998, implants removed 3/1999 and now piriformis surgery 8/1999. Can you give me some information on the Sacroilliac joint? Help Please, Nancy
