has anyone out there been diagnosed with generalized distonia? i was diagnosed a year ago with generalized dystonia. my entire body cramps up so badly that i can form a human arch. since i am not that limber, need i tell you that having my feet meet my head is not a nice experience? i have tried so many drugs that i think i rattle. i am currently taking tegredol for the migrain-like headache that never goes away. up until 2 weeks ago, the minimal dose was taking the edge off the pain, but now that is not working. just started taking requip to see if that will help with the muscle spasms. my neurologist isn't sure that this isn't the result of parkinson's disease. all i know is that i face each day feeling like a train wreck survivor, and so far nothing seems to help. thank God i still have my sense of humor, or all would be lost for me. i'd love to hear from anyone who suffers from this monster of a disorder.
