These letters about your children with Down Syndrome are wonderful! As a midwife I encounter a child with Down Syndrome every once in a while. I had one mom write a poem describing how she felt about her angel. When I became pregnant I prayed for the perfect child One whom would be happy and content with her toys One who would love me everyday and never grow up One day I had that child Some people call her handicapped I call her perfect!I recently delivered another baby (homebirth) with Down's Syndrome however this family doesn't speak English. If anyone knows where I can find a book in Spanish for this lovely family please let me know.
