I took care of my tendonitis myself. I stopped doing anything that affected the area that hurt. And I rested the area where the tendon was hurting for a few weeks. Slowly the pain subsided with the rest. I had planned to wear a sling as well but found I did not need it! When the pain had stopped I tried some light exercise and whenever I do any physical exercise now I make sure I warm up first.
