Piriformis syndrom with bursitis

It sounds like you have a muscle imbalance due to some kind of problem. Perhaps lax ligaments in the right hip. Thus, the hip keeps going out of alignment and the muscles (probably the wrong ones) are kicking in to help support the hip. The surgeons do not understand this. All they know is surgery. Maybe a GOOD physical therapists could help. I have had hip bursitis, in both hips, due to lax ligiments in the SI joint (the back). PT has helped but is no cure. You probably will always deal with this, but not to the point of ignoring the problem resulting in hip replacement. I would try another doctor, maybe two and some PT. Also be careful of Chiropractors. I went to one that was great and another who made me worse. Made the ligements more lax. Hope this helps and GOOD LUCK!
