I am very happy to see that there is hope out there for bad backs. I am a 51 year old women. I had back surgery for degenerating disk disease when I was only 15 years old. I was having problems with my legs going out and falling. The pain was just unbareable and I ended up with a fusion in L1-2-3-4. It helped me alot, but still had pain in legs and lower back. After all these years , the Doctor said I need another surgery. They told me that they need to go through my stmoach to get the inside of the spine. I am in severe pain and can't hardley walk. I got another Doctors opinion and they told me to wait as long as I could, as I might come out worst then I am . I need more fusions in L 4-5 and maybe more. I am so scared and I am confused. Do you have any advice? Please share your thoughts with me. I am not as young as before and think I might just have to live the rest of my life with the pain and weakness. Thankyou
