Hi Dennis, Alot of the stuff you went through, I also went through, so I can relate to your pain. I am 42 years old and the pain varies for different ages. The miracle lollipop is called "Actiq", most Walgreen Pharmacies have them, the help so much, it helps you sleep, you put it in the side of your mouth by the cheek and gum area and it is absorbed in the system, it got me through 4 days of hell. Day 6, I also started bleeding in my sleep, so I swallowed alot of blood and then started vomitting, the worst thing I ever went through in my life. Day 12, one side started bleeding again, this time not so bad, it happened twice. On day 14, things turned around and it was almost like I never had the surgery. It is one month later, I feel fine, a little run down from pain, blood loss and stress, but doing so much better, Good Luck, just think one month later, you will "almost" forget you had the surgery, Ha Ha!
