I've been told that you have to be able to eat something in order to take the pain meds. THe popsicles probably was not enough on her stomach to tolerate the pain meds. I've been told that if you can manage to swallow very cold applesauce, jello, and soup that is more or less lukewarm, then your stomach can tolerate the meds. Mine is coming up a week from Monday (2/2/04) and I am ready to just get it over with and go on with my life. Its like right the only thing I can think about is this surgery and how much pain I'm gonna be in for the next month or so.
