I had the "shot" on Feb.6,03, it hurt really bad, but 5 1/2 days later i had no pain from the knee down (left leg)and the tingling in the right leg slowly went away. Two months later the pain slowly went away all but the stabbing in my hip, the needles in my left heel and the tingling of my right toes, the fire burning feeling also went away ,thank God Yes it did help me and my Dr. said only get one ,I Still get the needles in my left heel and the tingling in my rigt toes ,but not as bad. I went through 2 neo surgens and 7 othrpedic before I found this Dr. He said "why cut the disk first, lets fix the nerve, then worry about the disk, i still haven't had surgey yet but he thinks I should, I have l 4,l 5-s1 level 10 and I went back to work after 8 mounths off, and yes I am a big chicken when it comes to anything poking or cutting me , pray and go for it , good luck.
