Hi..I have had panic attacks on and off for many years..I find medications help..I take Xanax when I'm feeling anxious and my sister-in-law is on Zoloft everyday for her panic attacks...I have also been able to identify when I'm starting to feel anxious and I immediately begin breathing exercises..take a deep breath, expanding your abdomen, hold it for a second and slowly breath out of your nose..it works pretty well for me..also I get up and start moving and doing something like washing the dishes..something that takes my mind off of myself...good luck..hang in there.
