Most panic attacks are caused by a chemical imbalance. I have been suffering for 30 years. There are medications that i take that help enormously. I take celexa, valium and xanax. All three must be taken together. One alone will not help you. Please see your doctor ASAP. Preferably a "shrink".....since they know about all of these drugs much better than a regular MD. He or she will figure out the dosage of each medication that you need. Good luck to you.
