I agree with Stephanie..who posted saying that a Rheumatologist being best in one persons fortunate luck.. because Generally a rheumatologist IS NOT the best to treat you. Go to Rheumatology.org and see what I mean... many rheumys are not sympathetic.. and it is not a for of arthritis.. BY FAR most rheumatologist seem to RESENT Fibromyalgia being tossed into "their field" for that very reason. All any dr can do anyway is treat symptoms.. FMS is not a disease..but more of a syndrome.. it's the pits.. it sucks.. and while it used to be true that it was primarly women that got it...there seems to be more and more men getting it now... and men tend to have more problems.. and respond less to meds... i know quite a few people with it..none have rashes.. only one seemed to think heat or light sensitivity was real.. of course..we all have different symptoms at different times... and what might help once time... likely won't next time... the stress that comes on with it is horrible... in the beginning i didn't really believe i had stress...LOL..but now it's grown into a very stressful thing... I am so impatient... I get jumpie feeling inside.. sometimes i feel like my insides (chest area mostly) is trembling... and my hands and arms..but when i look.. i'm not trembling...just feels like it.. I hate feeling things that happen to others... FOR EXAMPLE>>> I see a kid get down and crawl on cement... and these..little weird tinglie scraping feelings rush all over my body...Does anyone else feel this stuff too... or someone bumps their arm..or head..and I react physically be feeling weird feelings run thru me... betty
