If I was you, I would go see a specialist. Especially if you are losing strength and have pain. In the long run, sometimes spending the money to find out everything that could be wrong and what you should do is well worth it. I have lower back problems, I went to a couple of specialists, plus had an MRI done, now I know what I have to do next and what I can do for now. Good luck.
