I would get a few more opinions before I would have any further surgery. Make sure they give you more than adaquate Opoid Pain Therapy in the meantime. Don't be afraid to ask. Chronic pain makes you agree to surgery, in hopes of stopping the pain. Give yourself some time to make an educated decision. Take the strongest Pain Meds and then look into more surgery. My cousin has had 5 back surgeries and each one left her worse. Now, she is getting good results from Epiderals, but still needs pain meds. Good Luck
